This Privacy Policy describes how Maroon Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the AfterMatch mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Conversations and content you submit. When you analyze a conversation or use an AI tool, the text and any screenshots or photos you provide are processed by third-party AI service providers to generate your results. This content is used only to produce your analysis and is immediately discarded afterward. We do not store the conversations or images you submit.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name so we can back up and sync your saved results across your devices.
Device identifier. We use a device identifier to manage your free trial and prevent abuse of it.
Subscription status. We record whether you have an active subscription so we can unlock the corresponding features.
Results and scores. The analyses, scores, and matches you save are stored on your device and, if you are signed in, backed up to your account.
Advertising data. The app displays advertising. Our advertising partners may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information, subject to your tracking preferences.
Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by the app store you downloaded the app from. We never receive or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service, generate your analyses, manage your free trial and subscription, back up and sync your saved results, respond to your support requests, display advertising, and keep the Service secure and free from abuse.
3. Information We Do Not Collect or Do
We do not retain the conversations or photos you submit for analysis after processing. We do not sell your personal information. We do not track your location, access your contacts, or read your photo library beyond the images you choose to submit, and we do not build advertising profiles from the content of your conversations.
4. How We Share Information
AI service providers. To generate your analysis, the conversation text, profile text, and photos you submit are shared with third-party AI service providers, which may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and other AI providers. These providers process your content solely to produce your results, do not use it to train their AI models, and do not retain it after processing. They are required to provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy. We ask for your permission in the app before your content is shared with them.
We otherwise share information only as needed to run the Service: with advertising partners, limited to advertising identifiers and device data and subject to your tracking choices, and with the app store that processes your subscription. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Maroon Labs LLC. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
5. Data Retention and Security
Conversations and photos submitted for analysis are discarded immediately after processing. Account information is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your Rights

European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of, and port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal basis for processing advertising data is legitimate interest, or consent where required. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Brazil (LGPD)
You have the right to confirm processing, access, correct, anonymize, block or delete unnecessary data, request data portability, and revoke consent.
Canada (PIPEDA)
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, challenge its accuracy, and withdraw consent for its collection, use, or disclosure.
International transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from outside the US, your information may be processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. For EEA and UK users, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
7. Children's Privacy
AfterMatch is intended only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time by posting the revised version on this website and updating the date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
